Default Total noob....

Hi, I'm new to the forum and just as new to Bluetooth.

I have 2 computers, one for surfing and one strictly dedicated for audio recording.

Both computers are in one room at this time. However, I want to leave the audio computer in it's current location and move the surfing computer into my bedroom.

The cable connection is in the room where the audio computer will stay. But I need the surfing computer to network with it so I don't have to call the cable people back out to install another outlet in the bedroom.

Is this something that Bluetooth is capable of handling? And if so, would it be costly.

Or....am I better off using a wireless router such as Linksys?

Thanks for any information you can throw my way.

Earl

You will have a better chance adding a wifi router/AP instead of bluetooth. A wifi-router nowadays is rather cheap, say US$50. You connect that to the cable modem and then connect your audio computer there. You then buy a wifi card for your surfing computer, probably US$30 or so and then you can access the internet wirelessly. You can probably go cheaper if you look for bargains.

Good luck!
