Question connecting 50 PDAs together

Hello,

I'm working on a project relying on wireless technology and I'm wondering about how to connect 50 stations together wireless .
There would be no Internet connection, just a LAN consisting of 1 mobile PC (as the server) and 50 PDAs as clients.

I'm wondering whats the most that I could get out of the network ?
55 Mbps (802.11g) * 70% (efficiency) / 51(stations) = 740 Kbps of data per station ? or is there a way to boost the network (using several channels) ?
Dont forget I need to connect PDAs, and I'm not sure if there are a lot of 802.11g+ adapters out for PDAs... not even sure there are a lot of 802.11g adapters...

Ludo
