Default trasfer speeds

hi,

if i have 2 class one dongles,
what will be the max speed when transfering files or info between them.,

i know that the real speed is usually less thank quoted (eg, a 56 Kps modem
can only do about 5kps trasfer)

...or, how long will it take generally to trasfer 1megabyte...

one of the resons im asking is that i also wish to share an internet
connection with bluetooth,and have a lAN for games, etc ...

There are no 56 Kps modems, there are 56 kbps modems. "b" stands for
"bits".

It generally takes 10 bits to transmit one 8 bit byte. This is why you
think there is such a big difference.

If you are getting 5 kilo-byte per second on your modem, you are close to
top performance.
