Default Please Recommend a Bluetooth Dongle.

Hi again folks:

I want to thank you again for all of your help on my fist post to
this group. Now I'm ready to start development of a dialer for a
Bluetooth equipped cell phone.

First, get a Bluetooth dongle.

I selected a Linksys USBBT100, it's a name brand.

Install went without problems.

But no bluetooth device was found.

After a chat with Linksys tech support it appears that the drivers
for this device don't work with the XP Service Pack 3, the current
version of XP.

Anybody else see this?

Fortunately I purchased this from Fry's, so returning it won't be a
problem, but I'd like to exchange it for a unit that works.

Can someone recommend a Bluetoot USB adapter that works with XP
service pack 3?

Thanks
Larry

I've been dabbling in Bluetooth for a short time
and got my start by going on Ebay and ordering
the cheapest model avaiable. I think, among the
ones available there, they all come out of the
same pot. Be sure and get one with that has the
disk encluded, containing the "BlueSoleil" disk.
Up to this point the ones I have purchased have
done everthing I wanted to do. I mostly use it
for connecting my phone and and headphones
to my(Vista) Gateway laptop. I am certain that
there is better connection software, but I am
not familiar with it. Russ

But no bluetooth device was found.
