Smile Tracking solution needed

Hi y'all this is my first post here so I want to say hello to everyone from Costa Rica

I have a bit of an issue that I need help with. My friend and I are developing a motorcycle lap tracking system software, we are going to use it to track racing times for motorcycles:

Lap times
Total race time
If possible the vehicle position on real time

We almost have all the software developed however we canīt seem to find the right hardware to actual track the vehicles... We were thinking on a bluetooth device that we can assign a "tag" to each bike and some kind of reader that will give us the needed info for the software to do the rest.

Any one that can help us out with some advice? We are good with software but sucks with hardware
