Newbie Problem

I received a generic external 56k bluetooth modem for Christmas, since I live in a very rural area and broadband is a looong time off. The software does not work at all. So I bought an AmbiCom pcmcia bluetooth card. I installed it and when searching for other bluetooth devices it finds the modem. I can't figure out any way to get it to dial up and connect to the internet. I've tried everything I can think of, but I am new to bluetooth. Is there some software I need, settings in XP I need to change?

Any help would be greatly appericated!!

When you get the device in your Bluetooth places, what services does it offer? There should be one called "dial up networking". Connect that service, and set up your dial-up settings as normal.
