Problem with MS BT transceiver

I am using the MS transceiver that comes with the MS optical BT mouse. I am not sure it's the problem but so far it seems so.

From my PC I can see the BT devices (UX50 and Z600) and from both devices I can see the PC. But when I try any type of communication (hotsync, send files, etc.) the connection either fails or I get a message that the port is in use by another application (even when the mouse is not working).

Any ideas?

Are you attempting to create a serial connection? Ensure that the virtual Bluetooth serial port you are attempting to create does not have the same number as one of the real ones (or otherwise virtual ones) on your system.

Not only serial connections. Any connection I try to make fails.
