IIRC, as long as you've kept your install updated through Windows Update, you should have a "SE" install.
However, you can get any and all info you may need by right-clicking on "My Computer" and hitting Properties. Somewhere in there is a tab with the info you need. (It has been awhile since I last booted the Win98SE install on my Linux box and I use XP at work (where I usually post from, don't tell my boss

))

Q1. Does anyone know if I can run BT adaptors, or other BT devices through W98, without getting a new OS?
Q2. I know it's not the most appropriate forum to ask but how do i know if I haven't actually got W98SE, I mean does it say W98SE anywhere? I'm looking for some type of product imformation pop up window to confirm this obviously!
The laptop is only PII so thats why I'm happy with the older OS. Want to keep the spec low so it runs better with other big progs on it!
Help!?
