ACER BT 600 & Toshiba R100, unknown device

Hi,

Does anyonw here have the toshiba R100 and a USB BT dongle running fine?
I have been trying hard to setup the BT600 from Acer without success, I
always get "Unknown device"...

the dongle itself is OK since it works on my desktop. but the laptop
somehow wont recognize it.

any ideas?
