Default bluetooth and wi-fi?

So bluetooth uses the same band as wi-fi, but wont' interfere with any of
the 802.11 standards? Is that right? Thanks.

That is true. I have 802.11b network router (Linksys) with a bluetooth
dongle (Belkin) sitting next to it and both work perfectly.

Indeed it's true. It's the microwave radio band. You actually get
interference from Microwave ovens across both the Bluetooth & WiFi
bands. Bluetooth resolves most of these issues by preforming
"radio-hoping". It jumps frequency at controlled timed intervals.

Actually, you do get interference because Bluetooth constantly hops
frequencies and stomps all over Wi-Fi . It won't stopWi-Fi from working but
it CAN (and often does) cause significant slowdown because of corrupt
packets having to be re-sent.
