Default Home BT network, or wireless router?

I just bought a Sony Ericsson T616 phone and got the BT headset for free. I have successfully hooked the headset up to my PC with a dongle...and now comes the hard part.

I have a laptop that i want to share a new DSL connection with. I already have one 100m dongle and can get another for 30 bucks on ebay. Is it possible to share this internet connection easily or should i get a wireless router and hold out for a good deal on a NIC card for my laptop? (ibm thinkpad 600 - used by the wifey for surfing and online games)

Is it hard to configure file and print sharing between the PC and the laptop? I have XP sp1a on the desktop and W2k on the laptop.

I'm really just wanting a good wireless solution for home cus there isn't room in the office for 2 ppl and both computers. I want to be able to surf with the laptop from the livingroom.

The difficulty of setting up the network is directly related to how difficult you think this process is:

Have fun with BT!
