Jabra BT for non BT phones

I have a BT200 headset that works fine with my
T610 (although I dont like shoving stuff IN my ear) anway...

It came with a bluetooth adaptor for non BT phones
that terminates in a 2.5mm stereo jack (your generic
handsfree set up)

Can I (and how) use this adaptor to connect my
BT headset to (a) a hifi or better (b) a ham radio
that has audio out, earth, and mic in with a push to
talk that locks (i.e. press for talk, press again for listen)

I dont mind soldering some bits. Anyone?
