Default Expert questions!

I'm getting a T637 in a few days. Since it's my 1st BT phone I will buy a
USB/BT adapter and start discovering BT fun.

2 questions:

I guess I better buy a BT 1.2 adapter even if the phone is not so my adapter
will last longer?

Next is I saw there was different Class that have a distance ratio. So
again I plan to get a Class 1 that should works up the 100 meters.

I don't know if a phone have a Class rating but I think it rarely works over
10 meters.. so there is no need to get a Class 1 adapter I guess? Does a
BT Class 1 headset exist? If yes then maybe I could be able to start Skype
and talk from anywhere in the house?

Yet I only found 2 adapter that are BT 1.2 and Class 1 so it's not very
common. Wonder if I should go for these or simply buy the cheapest.

Thank you for ANY help!

Thanks, I didn't know about Anycom but "1.2 ready" is not like the Iogear
and Micronet

They seems to say that it now is full BT 1.2 compliant
with the new v1-4-3-4sp1 drivers Widcomm :

The update includes the following changes:
- Enables Bluetooth 1.2 support on USB-120/240
- Installation fixes for Windows XP SP2
- Some minor updates and corrections>

Hoping for how it is the truth, I envisage a bidding on Ebay for soon !

Thanks for the Micronet SP936B url (untraceable in France...)

Best Regards
