F8T003 & Nokia 3650 - What was the trick again?
Hi,
I recall some discussions about getting this combo to work a while ago in
this newsgroup. I've had success using this F8T003 USB Bluetooth adapter to
make the "Bluetooth Serial Port" connection to my Nokia 3650, since
installing it a couple of months ago, until tonight. Now I can't get the two
to connect and I'm trying to remember whether there was a "trick" to getting
these two to communicate when things go wrong.
I've installed no new software and was only using one other program
(Outlook) when when the problem happened. I tried several times and then
rebooted to try and reset it. I'm still having trouble. This is the second
time I've had this kind of trouble on this system - it works fine on my
laptop, but I don't keep Outlook synchronized there so it defeats the
purpose of easy synchronization. I have completely current antivirus
protection and clean as of a scan earlier tonight. I also keep spyware off
my system with regular scans etc. I always get the popup window which says
"Error connecting...etc." but before this stopped working I also received
the notices and just clicked on through them to connect. Now nothing happens
after I click them.
Specs:
Win XP Pro SP1a
PIII 733MHz
512MB RAM
USB 2.0 PCI controller card (known brand)
Any suggestions? Thanks for a reply.
