Default Class 1 Bluetooth?

Has anyone seen or tried devices with Class 1 Bluetooth? If memory is right, it's around 100 meters...

I assume Class 1, 2 and 3 would communicate without much hassle... right?

Thanks beforehand.

Class 1 devices should have a range of about 100 m, yes, although the environment may reduce this range. Devices of differing power classes will communicate together with no problems, except that for any given two-way connection, you would be limited to the one with the shortest range.
