Default Blocking wireless internet?

I have a wireless router and three devices connected to it. It is a pain when disiplining my kid to have to go to the room where the router is located, and then disable the internet. Is there anyway that I can remotely disable access to one computer on the wireless network, without touching or going into the settings of the router?

H2 <<<<< Laptop Two

H3 <<<<< Laptop Three

So, is there anyway that I can disable access to the internet one laptop three from laptop one? Maybe a program that could block the packets from accessing laptop three? Anything that you guys know of?

there are a few ways to do this. without actually knowing hte router/AP yoiu are using I can't say for sure. But, some offer a filter of some nature.

the belkin I have has a "Client IP filter". it will allow blocking specific ports for a specific time. you would have to staticly assign an IP to each machine you want to limit. once you assign the IP, go to the setup page on the router and then enter the IP you want to limit and choose the day/time (or choose always block) and port(s) you want to block. if you want to block everything do a range from 0-655xx (can't remember off-hand the highest port number). after that's done, click on eneable and save changes.

LInksys routers offer about the same settings but they are under security.

if they are wireless, you could set up mac address filtering and DO NOT add the machines you want to block. this would be only if you didn't ever want them to have access. the other method above you can specify times, say 7PM until 9PM M-F then setup another with the same IP and do Saturday 8AM through Sunday 9PM.

see the attachments.
