Default Belkin Bluetooth Adapter F8T001 & XP2

Hi,

I have upgraded to xp2. I did not have a bluetooth installation previously.

When I plug the usb adapter in; windows attempts to install it. However
after searching it cannot locate any drivers.

I do no think the dongle is supported by xp2. Do I use the CD from belkin to
do the install.

Any help would be appreciated.

Tony

I think the F8T001 in its version is not compatible. And if you have one of
these, the drivers are probably 1.2 - which will not run on Windows XP SP2
(or so I heard). You can try installing them anyway. If they're 1.3 and up
then it's all good.

Thanks for that. I had it installed and working correctly on my old laptop
using xp. I have bought a new laptop and have just installed xp2 but I had
not installed the bluetooth dongle yet.
