need help to configure Bluetooth dongle

Hi all,
I bought two new dongle (one from Silicon wave and another from Cambridge). I am trying to send data, at L2CAP level, between these two dongles. I have written two C codes using sockets. When I run the program the following message is coming.

Can't open L2CAP socket.

Even l2ping is not working. when i use l2ping following error is occuring.

[root@MuraliJ bluerecv]# l2ping 01:5A:4B:20:07B
Can't create socket.: No such file or directory

Can anybody tell me what to do?
