Question One way traffic

I have a WiFi AP (access point, desktop) and just notebook with WiFi. They are connected on 11mpbs bandwith with WEP, allowing firewall rules etc... a signal strength is excellent on both devices (they are in one room, 2 meters between).

The networking from notebook to desktop is a bit lower than normal (11mbps with 300-500kb/s actual transfer speed). But worse problem is that other way the speed downs to 1-2 kb/s dramatically. It became bad dialup modem

Alternatively good thing that passthru traffic from Internet is much faster than
1-2kb/s and estimated to Internet connection bandwith.

What I've to do? I guess some settings...
