Bluetooth cell phone range?

Hi I have a SE T610. And a MSI BTHUB (class 2).

How long range should I've expect of it, I guess around 10 meters? But in real life I only have 8 meters or less of range.

I have been thinking of upgrading to a class 1(100 meters) bluetooth dongle(MSI transceving key), hoping for longer range between my pc and cellphone is that possible?
