I have never gotten BT to work for LAN from Laptop to Desktop EVER!!

other than the HS850 BT headset that pairs with my Moto RazrV3 in an instant, I have tried a 3com 3CRWB6096B BT PC Card, a Cambridge USB BT dongle, and a Socket model # 8510-00159 F1 CF BT card (so you can see I have invested some Benjamins in this endeavor) and have NEVER gotten my laptop to pair with my computer using any combo of these nor will any of the 3 pair and let me sync with my fone from my IBM x31 laptop (WinXPProSP2). I put on the IBM WIDCOMM BTW 1.4.2.10 and that does NOT help. My fone is "seen" with the USB dongle and I can set up a security key but then nothing when I use Mobile Phone Tools to try to pair it for sync.
