Bluetooth good, Bluetooth bad!
I have a newly purchased Zonenet dongle (class 1, 100 meters) and a SCALA-500 headset. About $70 shipped from NewEgg.com.
If I listen to an internet radio source, I can hear it on the headset (or direct it to a wired headset on my sound cards line-out).
If I want to listen to an off-the-air radio source from line-in on the sound card, I can hear it on the wired headset, but not on the Bluetooth headset.
I want to hear AM from the internet (can't receive AM in the building) and FM off-the-air.
Can anyone tell me how to 'make the connection' between an off-the-air source and the wireless headset?
Thanks, Derick
P.S. With this combination, I can roam at least 60 feet in every direction and continue to hear the broadcast. It gets a little weak and flakey when I get to the outside walls, but still intelligible. This is a heavy computer use area, with cubicles, WiFi, and multiple pieces of test equipment to add to the electronic clutter. 100 meters is probably not likely here, but 60 feet is much better than I expected, especially for the headset (receive only tested).
