Default Bluetooth to Com Port

Im currently trying to use a piece of software that asks what COM port your phone is connected to.

I want to use it with bluetooth not a cable, the program says this is possible (like with a USB to COM converter) it says somthing about SPP but i dont understand this.

Can anybody cast some light on this or tell me how to do it??

Ta

I have only just come across Bluetooth, so I may be way off beam here, but as noone else has replied yet I thought that I would hazard a guess. When you run your bluetooth manager, it will tell you which bluetooth devices are connected, or allow you to connect using a very intuitive wizard (if you are using Windows XP). Once you have connected, the device is allocated a 'virtual COM port', and if you right-click on the device's item it should give you a summary of its properties which includes the name of this port, eg. COM41. This is probably what your software is asking for. Worth a go anyway.
