Default Small network HELP!!

Im going to help setup a small network(25 computer) to share a cable internet connection. So I have a few questions for anybody that can help me out. The network would be in 5 buildings roughly 125 feet from each other. The cable modem and router are located in building 1.

1)Do we need seperate lines from the router to each building?
2)Can we just daisy chain switches and use the switch to carry the signal and connect the computers in that building?
3)How many switches can be daisy chained to each other.

The setup would look something like this:

cable modem---Router---switch---switch---switch---switch---switch---switch

Or does the network need to be like this:
cable Modem
Router
|||||switch
||||switch
|||switch
||switch
|switch

with 4-6 computers also connected to each switch.
Would like to stay wired since rooms are already wired.

Any help or thoughts are greatly appreciated.
