Default belkin adapter won't install on Windows Me

We've set up a Belkin router in our home. The adapters have successfully been installed on two computers. However, when trying to install it on a computer with Windows Me and the installation will not complete. It keeps saying, 'Ndinst has caused an error NDINST.EXE' I asked Belkin support and they suggested I install a driver from their website. I don't see how I can do this when I have no internet connection on my computer.

Would really appreciate any help

Thanks

xx

Belkin High Speed Wireless USB Network Adapter 802.11g 125

Ndinst caused an error on Ndinst.exe and will close down. That's it???. I can't even proceed. WLanCigG can be activated but with no further response.

I had tried alternatives over a week - Add Hardware, Update Driver. Lookup Belkin Support under product F5D7050, F5D7051uk download and open F5D7050.exe, still same happen.

It also prompt netbeui.vxd, nwlink.vxd, wsipx.vxd not available but in fact were there already on Net4.cab of Window/System.

Ralinktek.dll, libeay32.dll, broadcom.dll error also came out. No help detected on any internet search.

Regards. KweeYong

Default BELKIN Wireless G USB Network Adapter

Hello,
I am experiencing the same problems. DONOT use this brand-name adapter. DONOT use Linsys brand-name adapter either. USE U.S.Robotics brand-name then you will not have a headache. Good Luck.

Default BELKIN Wireless G USB Network Adapter

I have found that the BT Voyager Wireless PCI adapter also gives the same problems such that NDINST.EXE interferes with the installation process in Windows ME

I received advice from BT Voyager that possibly NDINST.EXE might be related to Symantec/Norton code - so I was advised to uninstall all Symantec/Norton products. However this did not help.

So I am now considering a US Robotics product as suggested by Trong_Lieu on 12/1/2006

Has anyone tried installing on ME a US_Robotics product such as their PCI wireless adapter which supports 811g or USB adapter which supports 811g ?
