Default Bluetooth PDA network

Ok so I have decided to add a PDA to my life... I currently have a wired 10/100 network in my home as well as an 802.11b access point to provide conectivity to my laptop that roams around the house. My PDA (hp1945) supports bluetooth but not 802.11b. I would like to setup a bluetooth access point on my network that would allow for me to sync and access my home intranet.

Questions:

1- It is my understanding that bluetooth operates in the unlicensed 2.4GHz band. Is there any concern of conflict with the 802.11b network segment?

2- Is anyone aware of a script that would autosync the pocket pc upon connection to the "home" network.

the answer to 1) is no. they interoperate without problems until you run out of channels.

2) i have not done that before. however, what i have tried is use one of the PCs in the 802.11 network as a gateway for the PDA. the PDA talks to the PCs via bluetooth, the PC talks to the rest of the world via wireless, and then the PC act as a gateway for the PDA. then i can sync between the PC and the PDA. but i haven't tried connecting the PDA directly onto the net. but in theory, it shouldn't matter as long as it knows the IP for the PC.

Thanks btooth... I use my PDA extensivly for calander, contacts, and Pocket Quicken. I also make make extensive use of quicken and calander on my laptop when I am at work.

My dream is to be able to walk in the door from work and have my PDA auto sync via bluetooth with my desktop and then have my laptop sync over 802.11b to the desktop (still a lot of work to be done here, mostly with pulling off the sync of Quicken QIF data). I am still looking for an application like ActiveSync for my laptop/desktop.
