Default Two devices - one headset ?

Hello everyone,

does anyone know such a thing - BT headset having 3.5
mm audio jack for connecting to e.g some mp3 player ?
I would like some earplugs with microphone which I could connect to my
Palm (serving as the MP3player, and "control station" for my phone),
and be able to pick calls via BT without getting strangled by some
cables . There are devices available for audio->BT(a2dp) stream as
well as for BT->wired headset, but I couldn't find the thing described
above.

Any ideas?

You need two devices for that. Check out www.planex.de and the products

Best regards, Erik

Thanks a lot.
Unfortunately I'm looking for one device - I do not see a point
in converting to BT twice eating up batteries at both sides...

Regards
Michal

PS: There exist many solutions for audio jack->BT and stereo BT headsets,
but I would then have to carry 4 or more devices (BT headset, cellphone,
PDA (mp3) and jack->BT gizmo). Possible in winter and many pockets only

motorola made one, it was mainly for motorcycle helmets.
it used a bluetooth adapter and a corded headset, but the bluetooth adapter
had a 3.5mm input jack you could plug a mp3 player into.
i dont remember the model number but it might still be on their webpage.
