Problem installing BT dongle

Help. I am trying to install a Sitecom Bluetooth dongle on my workstation. I
get to the point where i am asked to insert the dongle into a USB port. at
this point the dongle is recognised, however a notification tells me there
were problems installing the drivers, and the device might not work
correctly. the install of the BT stack does not continue...i used to have a
Linsysy BT dongle installed befor trying to install this new dongle. i
upgraded for the advanced audio functions...

I tried the same dongle on another PC just to check it worked, it installed
with no issues...
