I have the 850 headset with the RazrV3 and it was too soft for me also but there is a software hack for the fone that fix'd me right up ...now it's nice and loud and very clear too!! go here: There are 12 pages of postings that will clearly explain what to do ...you don't need a PhD to do it ...it took a few minutes to download p2k software and a hex editor ...instructions are simple and it only took a coupla keystrokes and it is now perfect!! The volume of the bluetooth depends on the fone output. The hack is for the "gain table" in the fone. If you don't have a V3, nose around in that site and find out what to do for what you've got. You will need a USB cable for your computer to do it!! Google and eBay are helpful too.
