need help in bluetooth project

Hello group,
I am final year engg. student from Pune, India, currently working
on Bluetooth project. I am writing HID profile using C language.
I have stuck up in establishing the connection between 2 Bluetooth
enabled devices. So how to establish connection right from inquiry,
paging etc. OVER L2CAP LAYER? I also need to know the APIs required.
