Default Forgotten code on my bluetooth headset

Hey,

I have a BT101 bluetooth headset (supposedly analogue to Ericsson
HBH-30) which I got from eBay a long while ago and I don't know it's
password. Apparently the guy who sold it to me had changed it, but
didn't write anywhere on the stuff he sent with it. So I am willing to
know if there's any way to reset it? The instructions I have are just 1
page and tell you how to pair it with a phone, nothing else. It has
been unused for quite a while, so battery wasn't in use and draining
that wouldn't be a solution. Any ideas?

Thanks and have fun!
-Anton

Just use 0000 when you re-pair it with your next device

Most of the Bluetooth-Headsets out there use 0000 (that is four times
the number zero) as pairing key / password.

Thanks all. I had to reset the headset. The passcode wasn't 0000. Now
it works fine. Here's how (was part of somebody else's message):

First try to reset the HBH-30:
- bring HBH-30 in pairing mode (LED blinks green / red)
- press the call button and keep it pressed for 15 seconds
Than try to pair again.

Thanks though.

AFAIK you can't change the passcode in most headsets, its usually 0000.
You do have to reset the pairing sometimes though.
