Bluetooth software

I do not have a modem in my computer. I wanted to use my Motorola V551 as
the modem. My computer sees the Motorola with Bluetooth, but when I use the
bluetooth services, it says that my comptuer does not see any modems. How do
I go around it without having to purchase a modem card? Also, is there any
software for bluetooth other than the ones that came with a bluetooth usb
adapter I purchased? Thanks.
