Dear All,
I'm new here, so hello. I am currently starting a new job, which has
graciously offered to supply me with lots of nice geeky toys to
play... uh, I mean work with.
I am being offered an IBM Laptop, a PDA and Cell Phone. I'm looking
for advice into which PDA and cell phone to buy. What I would like to
be able to do, is to store the same information on all three of my
devices.
Obviously, I can't store all of my files on my PDA or Cell phone, but
things like my address book, my phone numbers, that sorta thing would
be nice to easily sync the three.
Furthermore, I would like to be able to get online from my laptop or
PDA (whichever is more appropriate) through my cell phone.
The laptop has 802.11g WiFi, and I believe bluetooth, if not I'll get
a USB bluetooth thingy (dongle?), so the ability to communicate with
my PDA using either would be nice.
I prefer to have WinCE (2003) on my PDA, and I love Nokia Phones, but
I could be persuaded to change either of those opinions given the
right options.
I would like a digital camera on either the PDA or the cell
(preferably cell) and the ability to e-mail those anywhere I like. I
would also like a Qwerty keyboard on the PDA.
My Laptop will run WinXP SP2, but I will also have an Apple machine
which I would also love to keep in the loop! I am in the US, and my
boss prefers Sprint for cellular services I believe, but as I will be
spending the budget I believe I can choose different
Anyways, any information on what works nicely together to achieve what
I want, would be greatly appreciated.
