Default Bluetooth Problems in Win XP Pro

I'm new to this forum, so this problem may already have been dealt with. I have a wireless Intellimouse Explorer for Bluetooth. It works just fine on my laptop, which is running Win XP 64-bit. The problem occurs when I try and connect it to my PC, which is running Win XP pro. I plugged the little bluetooth transciever into a USB port, and all the drivers have been installed properly. I've even downloaded all the SP2 stuff. The problem is that I don't have a Bluetooth Devices item in my control panel, so I can't even connect the mouse. Does anyoe have any idea how to fix this?
