Bluetooth transmitter and receiver

I am trying to add a bluetooth transmitter and receiver to a probe which measures a pulse rate instead of having a wired connection i would like it to be a Bluetooth one.

Is there a trans and receiver i can use that is off the shelf ?? I know i will probaly need some data mgt hardware also but i cannot find anything on the bluetooth side.

Help would be aprieciated
