Zipit Wireless problems

I was wondering if anyone here has heard of the mobile instant message device, Zipit Wireless. I'm having problems finding networks that it previously used. It's like the signal strength has faded out, but my computer works just find off the same signal. Is the problem the Zipit or the router? I've asked the staff at the Zipit website, and their help hasn't done any good.
