Default Serial Service and DevB on PC

I had a nice working Serial Service and Com port set up in Windows XP SP2 Bluetooth, then I deleted it, and now I can't successfully add it back. It used to be set up for COM6 and COM5 and the Bluetooth device showed DevA and DevB. I clicked Add Serial Service and Add Com Port (COM9 and COM8 now) but my application that used to work no longer works, AND I don't see Dev A or Dev B anymore. I'm positive having DevB must be key to making this work. Any ideas how I can get DevB to appear for my Bluetooth device in My Bluetooth Places?

Default Problem Solved

You can disregard the last message. It turns out Windows XP has a bug that keeps accumulating Bluetooth ports (numbers keep getting bigger).

To fix this I did the following:
1. Go to Control Panel, System. Click the Advanced tab > Environment Variables.
2. In the System Variables box click New: Variable name: devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices, Variable Value: 1
3. Now you can see all the COM ports in the Device Manager. To delete those COM ports click the Hardware Tab -> Device Manager.
4. In the menu click View -> Show Hidden Devices
5. You can now expand the 'Ports(COM & LPT)' tree and see all the extra COM ports: Right click & select 'uninstall' to remove each individually.

Now when I set one up it worked.
