I'm just curious but is it possible for old bluetooth enabled mobile phones to use the new bluetooth profiles? For example i have an old mp3/media bluetooth enabled phone. I would like to stream(using A2DP profile) the music I have to bluetooth speakers or to the pc via bluetooth dongle?

Would this require some sort of firmware upgrade?


I've just started my fisrt year of Uni in communications. Already thinking of a final year project. heheh
