Default BT Adapter not detected after startup

Anyone has a BT dongle adapter that's always plugged into their pcs and
working fine? Mine doesn't and here is my problem: Windows always fails to
detect mine automatically. I would have to take out the USB dongle and plug
it back in for it to be detected and installed *everytime* I boot up a fresh
session of Windows.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Specs:

Windows XP Pro SP2
USB Bluetooth LinkSys USBBT100 dongle adapter
LinkSys BT drivers

Mine seems to work fine all the time, but if I standby or hibernate
windows - it doesn't come back until I unplug and plug it back in.
And I'm using Windows XP SP1 with the Widcomm drivers.

Thanks for the reply!

Are you using the drivers that came with the device or Windows native ones?

Which adapter do you have?

R U using the latest drivers for this? Dont always assume that what
comes in the box on the CD is the latest and greatest.

I have heard of people having problems with the Linksys Bluetooth.
A freind of mine uses the IO Gear one, and the latest drivers from
there web site, and we have had NO problems from time of install to
date.

I have the MS Bluetooth Mouse and Run XP Pro W/SP2, but I also run XP
LITE, and clean out all the garbage that MS puts in.
