I have a cheap Bluetooth headset, but it works pretty well. It's a Jabra.
What I DON'T like about it though, is that it (like almost all the Bluetooth earpieces out there that I've seen) has the "one button does it all" mentality, and I hate it!
So, to power it up (turn it on), I have to push this little button in forever and watch for the "blinks"... Which may be okay normally, but trying to do this while you are driving and then see if the stupid thing is blinking enough times so you know it's on in daylight is a real challenge.
Also, If I want to turn it off, I again, have to hold that little button in for what seems like an eternity. But, if I let go too soon, (holding it not quite eternity), it will call the last person I talked to). I've had some people mad for me trying to call them past midnight as a result!
And, last but not least, when the battery power is weak in the earpiece, it won't work and starts beeping at me to charge it... But, when I try to turn it off, it can't seem to muster the power to do that and get's locked on, yet I can't actually use the device.
All these problems could be solved if it has a simple little On/Off switch, vs, the all in one button.
Sooo... Hence I am looking for a nice designed Bluetooth earpiece that has a simple
ON/OFF switch on the top somewhere.
And, one that also has a wheel for volume would be even better!!!!
Is there such a Bluetooth device out there, and who makes it, and where can I get it from?
Bluetoothed out!
