Poor headset sound quality

I am using a Belkin F8T061 Bluetooth headset with my notebook computer for Netmeeting. The sound quality is 'fair' at best, compared to a wired headset. The mic gain is also quite low. This is my first Bluetooth headset so I don't have anything to compare it to. I chose the Belkin because I liked the charging stand and the fact I've had pretty good luck with Belkin products in the past; it is also the only one Dell sells for this purpose. Has anyone compared this headset to others as far as the sound quality goes? Would you say it is comparable? I'm wondering if the Belkin headset just isn't very good, or if it is simple due to the limitations of the Bluetooth technology in this application. Have you used a headset that is significantly better?
