XP Vista Bluetooth Compatibility

I have a desktop running XP with a Kensington bluetooth dongle installed. I also have a laptop with built-in bluetooth running Vista. When I pair the devices, I can transfer files from the laptop, i.e. Vista, to the desktop, i.e. XP. However, when I try to transfer from the XP machine to my Vista machine, the files will not transfer. Does anyone know of a compatibility problem between bluetooth for XP and bluetooth for Vista?
