RIM Blackberry 7290 Wi-fi?

Hello i am new to this forum but it seems like a good forum from what i have been reading. I just wanted to ask a question about the Blackberry 7290 i was thinking about buying one online with no service and was wondering if it has wi-fi that i can connect to with no phone service like a like a local hot spot or accesspoint. Thanks for any help
