Default iMate JASJAM connecting to Notebook IVT Bluetooth

Is anyone else running the Blue Soliel software?

Something is going screwy with the configuration of the bluetooth adapter and the software. I have an inbuilt bluetooth adapter and what surprised me was that it requires a network connection and the manufacturer's software to operate. Hardward is CSR (Cambridge Silicon Radio)

Im wondering if anyone else has had the same issues connecting to bluetooth devices with this setup?

I'm wondering if the adapter will work without the Blue Soliel software?

Any ideas or clues would be appreciated
