Can 2 incompatible b/tooth devices somehow be made compatible? (SE HCB100/Nokia 6300)

Hi all

Please excuse my ignorance on this topic, but I've just been given a Sony Ericsson HCB-100 car speakerphone which sadly is not compatible with my Nokia 6300 phone, and I wondered if there is a way at all of making them compatible?

I know it's probably one of the daftest questions ever posted on a forum, but I thought there was no harm in asking and seeing as this is my first ever post along with the fact that I'm only a newby to bluetooth technology, I hope you'll go easy on me
