Bluetooth headset problems with Iphone clone

Hi all,
I'm a newb, so forgive my ignorance, please. I have just received a much anticipated Ebay purchase in the shape of an Iphone clone from China called the CECT Ifone P186. It's pretty nifty, touchscreen, MP3/4 and all that stuff BUT I'm having some trouble with Bluetooth.

I can connect the phone to my XP PC using my bluetooth dongle...no problem and I can also connect it to my Samsung D500 phone. The unit pairs correctly, etc... However, when I try to use the device discovery service to find a bluetooth headset...nothing, nada. I have now tried three different headsets to no avail. The phone keeps telling me that there are no further devices to be discovered.

In the menus there are two ways to connect a new device, one is to use the discover device option and the other is to use the "find audio device" option...neither of which give me any joy. I have emailed the company and am awaiting a reply (with crossed fingers...!) but I thought, perhaps, someone here might have an answer.
