bluetooth help, please

hi just got a mikomi bluetooth dongle from argos,did what the instructions said, but it wont work. tried loading it from the drive instead of autoplay, wont work that way.

put it in usb and pc finds new hardware, put disc in that came with it, and when it does what it has to do, it still wont work.

now when i put it back into the usb it wont do anything at all, not even find new hardware.

please tell me where im going wrong and what i have to do to get it working,

Take it back mate. I've found if you buy cheap far eastern PC addons the online support is often lacking. I can't even find the right Mikomi web site!

The dongles are tough. Even if you got it working, you may not be able to get the function that you are after.

Grachma is right, the support from the Far East suppliers can be very lacking. We don't carry dongles on our online store for that reason. Headsets are one thing, and very simple, but when you try to get a BT dongle to work properly on a computer, there are often so many variables that it becomes a real pain to get it to work at all (as if you didn't know).

Most dongles coming out of Asia tend to work with the BlueSoliel application. You can probably find it online if you search for Bluesoliel.

Sorry for the frustration. Been there done that! If I find any decent BT dongles that work well, I'll post something and let people know.
