Default Bluetooth Speaker Help

I have Acoustic Energy bluetooth speakers which play perfectly from my mobile phone, ad I am trying to get my laptop to do the same.

I have paired the speakers using the Microsoft BT stack, but I cannot find the speakers under my Sounds section in the control panel - I had assumed I would just choose these speakers instead of my normal soundcard and use winamp or iTunes to broadcast streaming music to them.

Can anyone help?

Thanks
Dave

Default Sounds like same problem: Have you found the solution??

BlueTooth Problem : Unable to play song on my laptop/pc using mobile phone

I am not able to play song (stored on mobile) using audio accessories of laptop

What I have
- BlueTooth 4.0
- BlueTooth wave from Toshiba
- Bluetooth Stack from Toshiba for Windows
(Toshiba has created its own Bluetooth stack for use on Microsoft Windows)
- Nokia phone with Bluetooth enabled
- Music player on phone shows "Play via BlueTooth" feature

Steps I did

- Enable both BlueTooth on phone and Laptop
- Play song on mobile. I can hear the voice from mobile.
- Click "play via BlueTooth" and connect laptop. It shows me connected status but i cant hear the voice now.
- Music progress bar is running. Sound device is change to "BlueTooth Wave from Toshiba"
- When I change music track from mobile, a beep sounds on laptop acknowledging some change.

I am not able to figure it out.

Please let me know if you require more information about the steps i followed or my observations.

Thanks
Ankush

Default Toshiba streaming problem - no AC2DP

In my case, the problem was that my Toshiba laptop had no means to broadcast steaming audio in A2DP format. If I want to get my setup working, I need to buy a dongle that will stream audio in this format.

Maybe your issue is related to this.
