hey peeps
may have been asked before but ....
i have a number of customer sites that have interactive whiteboard installs done in them now and there's a regular problem with the usb connection for them not being long enough to reach where we want to put the outlet connections

The manufacturers have finally (after too long) taken this into consideration and are pushing new boards out with bluetooth functionality and one manufacturer does do a plug in one that appears to do what i want but it must be priced on the "short and curly" basis as in they've got you by the .... since its £250!!!! This new approach is all well and good for boards due to be installed but it doesn't help deal with the 'heath robinson' approaches we've had to adopt for existing installs (including custom making usb faceplates etc) which would be nice to tidy up with an alternative sollution.
what i'm looking for is something small that i can connect an interactive whiteboard to that can basically act as a bluetooth device server such that i can then connect a pc via a bluetooth dongle to it. Am i asking the impossible? Possibly but then perhaps i'm just not using the appropriate wording for my google searches? I found a product by silex thats similar to what i want but it's not quite right as i don't want 54g wifi support.
Any ideas or comments?
thanks in advance
