All,
I recently purchased a Bluetooth eval kit from BlueRadios. I needed a BT module with Headset Profile (HSP) and UART. The BlueRadios BT module met my requirements.
I am trying to configure the device for several things once the cellphone and headset are paired. I am not really sure if "paired" means "connected" (ACL and/or SCO):
- If the cellphone user tries to make a call (outgoing) using the cellphone directly, without the headset, how do I temporarily break the connection between the cellphone and headset and then automatically re-establish the connection upon call completion?
- If a call comes through (incoming), how can I allow the user to answer the phone directly, without the headset, and then automatically re-establish the connection between the cellphone and headset upon call completion?
- My Motorola cellphone automatically connects to my Motorola headset when the 2 devices come within "range" of each other and automatically disconnects when the become "out-of-range". How do I recreate this behavior on the BlueRadios BT module?
- I need better clarification/definition between ACL and SCO.
Any ideas? I am currently tinkering with the BT module and can see the unsolicited AT+RING command in both a hyperterminal and on my oscilloscope.
